Located opposite the beautiful Darling Gardens in Melbourne’s Clifton Hill, Sambell Lodge is on the city’s doorstep.
Sambell Lodge offers quality care and friendship in a warm and welcoming environment. We take the time to get to know you well, and will work with you to tailor a plan to your individual preferences and circumstances. We will also have regular contact with you to ensure your plan continues to meet your needs over time.
Your independence and right to choose how you live is important, which is why at Sambell Lodge you are involved in all decision-making about your care and can choose from a wide range activities from our lifestyle program. We will also assist you in pursuing the interests and activities you had before moving in.
We encourage connections with the local community through a number of activities, ranging from singing in a local choir to volunteering with a food van that serves meals to people who are homeless. Our award-winning Celebration of Life social events also bring together hundreds of residents from different aged care residences for an afternoon of socialising and entertainment.
If you enjoy the outdoors, you can relax in the landscaped courtyard, garden in the vegetable patch and enjoy regular outings to cafes, shops and other destinations.
Our qualified staff are present around the clock, and you will also have access to visiting doctors and other health practitioners including physiotherapists, podiatrists, dieticians and psychologists. We also provide specialised care and tailored activities for residents with dementia.
