Carers also need to take time to care of themselves. We provide a range of flexible respite services to offer carers an opportunity to get things done and to take a break, knowing the person they care for has all the support they need.
Respite care can be provided in your own home or at a centre. It can be for a couple of hours during the day or night, or even overnight for a few days or weeks.
Some of the services we can help you with are
- Personal care and support with daily tasks
- Meal solutions
- Overnight assistance
- Transition from hospital to home
- Social support and company
Our qualified personal care workers can provide respite care at home or while accompanying you to an activity or outing of your choice.
You’ll find companionship and enjoyable activities and outings at our Social Connection Hubs. We’ll ask you what your interests and favourite pastimes are so that we can assist you in doing the things you love. From art and music therapy to cooking classes, eating out, and so much more
