The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides small amounts of entry-level support for you to stay independent, safe, socially active and connected with your community.  The program aims to help you live as independently as possible.

CHSP services offered

Our range of services include flexible in-home support, social support group, social support individual, centre-based respite and overnight cottage respite services.

Social support group

We offer recreational activity programsin our Social Connection Hubs, helping older people and their carers to connect with the community, make friends and maintain wellbeing.

Social support individual

Social support individual is assistance provided to an individual at home designed to assist older people to participate in community life and feel socially connected to the community.

Services include including visiting, telephone/web contact and accompanied activities like shopping.
